Why use In Memoriam UBC?
An In Memoriam page enables friends and family to share memories of a loved one, and to create a legacy for them by inviting donations in their memory. In Memoriam UBC also provides a space to share messages, memories, and photos.
Are pages personalized?
Yes. Each page includes a profile picture chosen by family and/or friends, a written tribute to the person’s life and their connection to UBC, personal messages from family and other site visitors, and a banner image that can be personalized from five options.
Can I post additional photos or videos to the online page?
Yes, friends and family can post memories directly to their loved one’s page by clicking the “Add Your Memory” button.
Will my donation be made public?
Preferred names will be listed on the donor scroll. If you prefer not to be listed, please choose the “I do not wish my name to be displayed on the donor scroll” checkbox. If you prefer to make an offline gift, please contact us at 604.827.4111 or toll-free in North America 1.877.717.GIVE.
